미술은 언어이다. 마치 자음, 모음이 어우러져 하나의 문장을 만드는 것 처럼 점이 모여 선이 되고, 선이모여 면을 이루어 사람들과 소통하는 하나의 시각 언어가 된다. 나의 의도를 전달하기 위해 거칠거나 혹은 매끈하거나, 밝거나 혹은 어둡거나,  색으로 가득 차기도 하고 만질 수 있는 형태가 되기도 한다. 이 모든 것의 시작은 점이다.

Art is a language. Just as consonants and vowels come together to form a sentence, dots gather to become lines, and lines connect to form planes—ultimately becoming a visual language that communicates with others. To convey intention, it may be rough or smooth, bright or dark, filled with color or shaped into something tangible. The beginning of it all is the dot.
