‘한양 미술+디자인교육센터’는 2023 장애 청소년 미술교육 지원사업 Jump aHEAD! 수료 전시인 《70개의 메트로놈을 위한 교향시: 애호가 앙상블》을 개최하였다. 이번 전시는 지난 5년간 지속해 온 미술교육의 결실이 모이는 자리로 마련되었다. 전시에서는 올해 선발된 발달장애 청소년 70명의 작품 170점을 선보인다.

전시의 제목 《70개의 메트로놈을 위한 교향시: 애호가 앙상블》은 오직 메트로놈으로만 연주하도록 작곡된 곡인‘100개의 메트로놈을 위한 교향시’에서 따온 것으로, 오스트리아 작곡가 리게티 죄르지가 작곡한 곡이다. 제각기 다른 박자와 지속 시간을 지닌 메트로놈들이 모여 하모니를 이루는 것처럼, 전시 또한 개별 참여자들의 속도와 고유성을 존중한다는 의미를 지니고 있다.

'Hanyang Center for Art + Design Education' held the exhibition Symphonic Poem for 70 Metronomes: The Enthusiasts’ Ensemble as the completion showcase for the 2023 art education support project for youth with disabilities, Jump aHEAD!. This exhibition marked the culmination of five years of continuous art education efforts, bringing together the achievements of that journey. A total of 170 artworks by 70 adolescents with developmental disabilities selected this year were on display.

The title of the exhibition, Symphonic Poem for 70 Metronomes: The Enthusiasts’ Ensemble, is inspired by the piece Poème Symphonique for 100 Metronomes composed by Austrian composer György Ligeti. Just as metronomes with varying tempos and durations come together to form harmony, the exhibition celebrates the individuality and pace of each participant.
