지난 4월 2일, 제19회 세계자폐인의 날을 맞이하여 (사)자폐인사랑협회 주관으로 발달장애인 작가 42인의 작품 전시회인 <세상을 밝히는 명작전> 오프닝 행사가 개최되었다.
이번 행사에서 HEAD Lab 김선아 센터장은 축사를 통해 작가들에게 격려의 메시지를 전했으며, 류희선 연구원은 전시 도슨트를 맡아 내빈들에게 작품의 의미를 전달했다.
한편, HEAD Lab과 자폐인사랑협회는 지난 2025년 업무협약(MOU)을 체결한 바 있다. 양 기관은 자폐성 장애인을 포함한 장애인의 문화예술 참여 확대와 실질적인 문화복지 실현을 위해 지속적인 협력을 이어가고 있다.
On April 2, in observance of the 19th World Autism Awareness Day, the Korea Autism Love Association hosted the opening ceremony of Masterpieces That Illuminate the World, an exhibition featuring works by 42 artists with developmental disabilities.
At the event, Sunah Kim, Director of HEAD Lab, delivered a congratulatory address, offering words of encouragement to the participating artists. Researcher Heeseon Ryu served as a docent, guiding distinguished guests through the exhibition and providing insights into the artworks.
Meanwhile, HEAD Lab and the Korea Autism Love Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 2025. Since then, the two organizations have continued their collaboration to expand cultural and artistic opportunities for individuals with disabilities, including those with autism, and to promote meaningful cultural welfare.
